This is his first speech to Emerson College and the community since the announcement by Emerson that he would become the 13th President of Emerson College. During the speech, he talked about his thought about accepting the new job at Emerson and he will join the community of Emerson in the days from now till he officially becomes the president. He said he will learn every aspect of Emerson and listen to the community about what they want. Bernhardt currently is the dean of Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin from 2016 until Jun. 1 2023 as he accepted Emerson.
The Massachusetts Statehouse reopened itself to the public last Tuesday after a 708 day closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the last statehouse to reopen in the country. In order to enter the statehouse, visitors older than 5 years must provide a negative PCR test or provide proof of vaccination. The plan to reopen was driven by the declining number of cases despite the surge of the highly contagious omicron variant of the virus. This is a group work, associated with classmates.

During the rally, President Joe Biden vowed not to send American troops into Ukraine. Ukrainian protester Stephanie Hrabowychto said it is frustrating, “I am not gonna pretend that I am I’m one for all the political chatter but from what I’ve been hearing even ambassador in Ukraine from the US was saying that they were expecting Ukraine kind of fighting this battle themselves I mean I don’t think that’s how it should be." In the crowd, people who also support the nation of Georgia. “We’ve been through the same thing in 2008 when the Georgia and Russia war happened,” said Anna Doi. According to ASD-B(Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) data collected by flightradar24.com, the plane plunged at a very high descent rate before crashing, pulling up briefly midway but eventually crashing. Boeing 737NG and 737MAX are common aircraft, the accident aircraft model Boeing 737-800 belongs to the Boeing 737NG series. According to Boeing's orders and deliveries data statistics, as of February 2022 Boeing delivered a total of 6,937 Boeing 737NG to the world, including 4,719 737-800 aircraft, and 706 Boeing 737MAX. looking back to history there were total 31 incidents with Boeing 737 NG and 737 MAX, 15 of them caused at least one death on board including China Eastern 5735. Of the 15 accidents, 2 were 737 MAX models, Lion Air Flight 610 in 2018 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 in 2019. Boston–On Monday, the MBTA’s Union Square branch and Union Square Station began operation. The Union Square Branch is the first branch after 35 years. Another part of the Green Line Extension, the Medford branch with 5 stop till Tufts will open later this year. As the same part of Green Line extension with the Union Square Branch, the MBTA also debuts the renovated Lechmere Station.
