[Boston]—-People came to the Massachusetts State House to protest the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his troops into Ukraine. During the rally, President Joe Biden vowed not to send American troops into Ukraine.

Ukrainian protester Stephanie Hrabowychto said it is frustrating, “I am not gonna pretend that I am I’m one for all the political chatter but from what I’ve been hearing even ambassador in Ukraine from the US was saying that they were expecting Ukraine kind of fighting this battle themselves I mean I don’t think that’s how it should be.”

In the crowd, people who also support the nation of Georgia. “We’ve been through the same thing in 2008 when the Georgia and Russia war happened,” said Anna Doi. She supports Biden’s decision not to send troops to Ukraine, “it is great that he is making very big moves to make Russia uncomfortable.”
